T-ara’s So Yeon has joined Kim Kang Woo, Jo Yeo Jeong and Jung Seok Won to star in the upcoming KBS’ drama Haeundae Lovers.

On June 26, Core Contents Media released a press release stating that So Yeon had come on board the upcoming drama.

She will play the role of Lee Kwan Soon and is described as a bright and merit-filled character and is a close dongseng of the character Go So Ra (Jo Yeo Jeong).

On her casting, So Yeon shared, “I’ve received a lot of helpful advice from Ham Eun Jung, Hyo Min and Ji Yeon who have all acted since a young age and am studying hard. I will work hard to make sure I don’t embarrass Ham Eun Jung, Hyo Min and Ji Yeon who have all begun acting before me.”
