SNSD, U-KISS Fans in Hong Kong Gain Recognition in Korea

Many fans in Hong Kong and Macau have been actively expressing their support and excitement for the upcoming K-Pop Nation in Macao Concert 2012 and are steadily gaining recognition in the Korean press.

Following the opening of concert ticket sales, SNSD and U-KISS fans have begun posting up proof shots of their support with messages, posters and self-made placards on fan café sites and other social networking service feeds.

The enthusiastic showing of support by fans has become a viral hit among fans in the area and are beginning to receive recognition by the Korean press.

Even director Bae Sang Won from MBC, one of the concert’s co-host, commented, “We were very surprised and thankful to see the Hong Kong fans directly cheering and loving hallyu. The artists have received a lot of strength [through the encouragements] and are making the effort to return the favor with a great performance.”

The upcoming K-Pop Nation Concert in Macao 2012 will take place on July 2 at the Venetian Macao Hotel. Performers for the night include SNSD, SHINee, U-KISS and B.A.P who will each sing five songs.

MBC Music will also air the concert sometime in the middle of July.
