On January 15, the 29th Golden Disc Awards took place at the MasterCard center in Beijing.

On this day, EXO shed tears as it received the album Daesang once again following last year, which is the most prestigious award in the album segment of the Golden Disc Awards.

EXO gathered alot of popularity last year with Overdose and December 2014.

Upon receiving the award, EXO’s Su Ho stated, “We received the Daesang last year and we’re honored to receive it this year again. We love you all.” Su Ho shed tears of happiness as he received the award, receiving loud cheers from the fans.

During the ceremony, CN Blue received the iQiyi Popularity Award, CeCi Asia Icon Award, China Goodwill Star Award on top of the Bonsang, taking home four trophies.

The Golden Disc Awards is an award ceremony that highlights artists who received much love from the public for one whole year. Winners are selected based on the sales of the albums and digital songs throughout the year.
