Kim Sae Ron Says, “Don’t ask me to compare Won Bin and Lee Chun Hee.”
Kim Sae Ron, who won the hearts of moviegoers with her precocious acting in The Man From Nowhere alongside Won Bin, attended the 16th Busan International Film Festival for her latest movie, Barbie.
In Barbie, Kim acts as Sun Young, a little girl living with a mentally-impaired father and a roughneck uncle who becomes an organ smuggler and sells his niece to a buyer in the U.S.
In an interview with enews, when asked about what kind of question she got the most often during the filming of the movie, she said it was about a comparison between Won Bin and Lee Chun Hee. She asked back, “You aren’t going to ask the same question, are you?”
The little girl was the object of much envy from Won Bin fanatics when it became known that she was still in contact with the actor, and so of course, wasn′t about to throw her beloved ′ajusshi′ under the bus.
The young actress revealed honestly that she was stumped whenever asked to compare Won Bin and Lee Chun Hee, and gave an unsurprisingly politically correct answer.
Kim said, “Both of them are nice. Lee Chun Hee sunbaenim (senior) is very kind and gentle, but he completely changes when he acts. I think I can learn a lot from him as an actor.”
Out of the mouths of babes. Apparently Lee Chun Hee isn′t the ′Chunderella′ of yore!
