The producers of SBS’ Running Man prepared a mind-boggling mission for its 100th episode. The Running Man members had to fight amongst themselves as gods in a ‘war of the gods’.

The June 24 broadcast, the 100th episode of the show, showed how the members with the power of gods had to take the others down without exposing their weaknesses.

Because the cast lost in a previous game against the producers, they had to pick out two amongst themselves that would not be given godly powers, and those two ended up being Kim Jong Kook and Lee Kwang Soo.

When the two mortals entered a guest room that was to help with the game, they found a mask with Yun Eun Hye’s face on it.

Lee Kwang Soo found that after putting on the mask, he had to cover a god’s ears and shout ‘Of course’, an action that was reminiscent of the famous scene in SBS’ X Man where Kim Jong Kook had covered Yun Eun Hye’s ears before saying ‘Of course’.

The item was actually to be used against Kim Jong Kook had he become a god - but of course the weapon didn’t work against the god Ji Suk Jin no matter how hard they tried.

This isn’t the first time Running Man has teased Kim Jong Kook about his past variety relations with Yun Eun Hye.

In an episode in April, the producers had arrested the Running Man members saying that they had committed absurd crimes. Kim Jong Kook had been arrested for a ‘Yun Eun Hye crime’, or for overreacting whenever Yun Eun Hye’s name came up.

The 100th episode of Running Man ended with Poseidon Yoo Jae Suk as the winner.
