SHINee Wraps Up Japan Tour by Gathering 200,000 Fans
SHINee successfully wrapped up its Japan Hall & Arena Tour.
SHINee’s Japan national tour titled SHINee World 2014 ~I’m Your Boy~, which began in Ichihara, Chiba on September, was succcesfully held in Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Hiroshima and Niigata and more and the 30 concerts launched in 20 cities around Japan gathered a total of 200,000 fans, proving SHINee’s popularity in the country.
This Hall & Arena tour was held not only in big sized cities and concert halls but in small cities as well, reflecting SHINee’s wish to meet fans in different areas and interact more closely with them. The concert not only presented SHINee’s music and performances but the members who spoke Japanese as they led the events and showed live performances along with a band.
SHINee will also be launching the special version of this national tour titled SHINee World 2014 ~I’m Your Boy~ Special Edition in Tokyo Dome over two days on March 14 and 15 in Tokyo Dome for the first time since SHINee debuted in Japan.
The last concert of this Hall & Arena tour was held in Kobe on December 13 and 14 and it completely mesmerized 16,000 audience members over two days with SHInee’s outstanding live and dynamic performances and fancy stage set ups.
During this concert, SHINee performed around 25 songs over two and a half hours, including the Japanese single hits Boys Meet U and Lucky Star, the Japanese version of the hits Everybody and Dream Dirl, the songs from the Oricon chart winning third full length Japanese album Picasso, 365, Perfect 10 and more.
The fans also enjoyed the concert with passion and prepared a birthday song to celebrate Onew’s birthday on December 14, touching the members’ hearts.
Upon completing the concert, SHINee said, “Thank you for showing an enthusiastic response at all of our concerts and we had a great time thanks to you all. We’re working hard to prepare the Tokyo dome concert taking place next March so please anticipate. See you again in Tokyo dome.”
