Losing weight isn′t just about exercise, but also about the way you eat - so if you covet the bodies of girl group members, you′d better put down that bag of chips and that latte and start picking up the fruits and veggies instead.

Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News revealed the strict diets that girl groups must follow in order to get those super-fit bodies.

For SISTAR′s Dasom, who went from cute to sexy after losing 7 kilograms, says her meals consist of rabbit food, aka cucumbers, tomatoes and fruits that measured out to be around 290 calories. She also ate a small amount of brown rice or organic bread.

Girls’ Generation (SNSD) is known to eat a lot of food, but when they’re preparing for a special event or performance, they cut down on the junk food and focus on their strict diet.

For breakfast, they eat brown rice, plain chicken breast, vegetable dishes, steamed broccoli, equaling to about 470 kcal.

For lunch, the girls eat the same thing as breakfast, but replace the veggie dishes and broccoli with cabbage and bell pepper salad, garnished with almonds, which rounds out to around 450 kcal.

Luckily for the girls, they also get a small 230 kcal snack of sweet potatoes (probably for Seouhyun) or whole wheat bread, low fat milk or soy milk, and baby tomatoes, almonds, or walnuts. They’re allowed to choose what they want as well.

Lastly for dinner, they eat a 260 kcal meal of sweet potatoes, eggs (they can only one yolk), and cabbage and bell pepper salad.

Moving onto Secret, who recently filmed a commercial for a water park! The Secret members usually consume a 450 kcal meal consisting of milk, yogurt, banana, baby tomatoes, red cabbage, carrots, bell peppers and eggs.

While the meals may be very small and severely low on carbohydrates, the girls’ determination and efforts to eat a healthy diet is worthy of applause.
