Jang Keun Suk and Logan Lerman Meet At BIFF

Jang Keun Suk and Hollywood actor Logan Lerman, the star of The Three Musketeers met at the Open Talk:East Meets West: Today’s Stars on Tomorrow’s Cinema on October 9 at the Busan International Film Festival.

The two rising stars shared anecdotes regarding filming the newest movies and shared their thoughts on movies, amid fervent responses from the masses who gathered to see two stars.

Jang greeted attendees, saying, “This is my first time in Busan. I waited to come to Busan until I could visit with my movie, so this time I came here with You’re My Pet .”

During the meeting, Jang revealed his wish to make his way to the Hollywood, and Logan Lerman said, “You are always welcome,” to which Jang responded wittily, “Then help me, please.” Lerman responded, “No problem. I’ll help you.”

Jang also talked about his ambitious goals, revealing, “I’ll start to make my own movie within this year. I’ll work as a full-time director starting next year.”

Jang drew attention with his confident and freewheeling attitude, breaking free from the modest image commonly taken by Korean stars in the past.

On the other hand, Lerman was on the prudent and quiet side, making careful remarks. He greeted in Korean and said, “I was a little surprised because I’ve never met these many people before. But I’m thankful for your warm welcome.”

His remarks were filled with serious contemplation and all his answers to questions concerning clothes, music and life were all related to films, leaving the impression that he only focused on movies.

The Open Talk event was held with the aim to give rising stars from Eastern and Western countries the chance to share their views on movies.
