Teen Top is showing its impressive popularity in Japan.

On June 18 Teen Top held its ‘high touch’ event with fans at Tokyo’s Lasonza-Kawasaki mall.

Though only 1,000 lucky fans, who had purchased the group′s special license album ahead of its debut album, were able to participate in the event, some 5,000 fans stayed to watch and cheer on the members from afar.

The fans at the event were visibly diverse, as there were school girls in uniform to mothers carrying their infant children.

The event was momentarily halted at one point when the Teen Top members attempted to come to a fan in a wheelchair which resulted in the frenzy crowd beginning to rush towards the members. The event resumed once more after safety personnel were in place.
