iKON’s Bobby Revealed as First Member of YG’s Hip-Hop Project 2
The first member of YG Entertainment’s second hip-hop project has been revealed.
The unveiled member is YG’s upcoming group iKON’s Bobby.
On November 27, YG released a poster that said ‘YG Hip-hop Project 2,’ showing Bobby’s face.
Bobby appeared on Mnet’s Show Me the Money 3, breaking the stereotype of an idol rapper by showing himself grow each episode and being named the winner in the end. He recently featured in Epik High’s Born Hater and Hi Suhyun’s I’m Different.
He also received love in Mix & Match with his fancy rap and performance.
Curiosity has been increasing on who will be forming a unit with Bobby, who has been showing his presence as YG’s rapper.
GD X Taeyang, who were the members of YG’s first hip-hop project, released the music video for Good Boy, which raked in over 7 million views on YouTube in just seven days, proving its popularity.
GD X Taeyang’s first performance of Good Boy will be revealed through the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards launching on December 3.
