Lee Soo Hyuk Feels Honored to Show Romance Acting in ‘Valid Love’
Lee Soo Hyuk expressed his desire to make a transformation in acting.
On November 18, Lee Soo Hyuk attended the press conference for tvN’s Valid Love held in Time Square’s Amoris Wedding Hall in Youngdeungpo and was asked about how he is usually cast for heavy roles.
He asked back, “All the characters I’ve acted out seem similar, right?” and said, “I’ve been trying to differentiate them. I’ve acted out many characters who don’t seem human.”
He said, “I was able to show my human side through High Schooler King of Life and I feel honored to take on a character that is involved in a romance this time,” and added, “I have a model image and an urban image but the director saw another side of me. His advice has been very helpful and I’ve been working hard.”
Valid Love is a romance drama about Kim Illy (Lee Si Young), who falls in love with two men at the same time, her husband Jang Hee Tae (Uhm Tae Woong), who must watch his wife fall in love with her first love all over again and Kim Joon (Lee Soo Hyuk), who feels heart flutters about a woman for the first time after meeting Illy.
The drama brings together writer Kim Do Woo, who wrote My Lovely Sam Soon, and director Han Ji Seung, who directed Alone in Love.
