Epik High Heats Up 12,000 Fans with Spirited Hip-Hop Solo Concert
Epik High brought the heat for 12,000 fans with a true hip-hop concert.
Epik High launched its solo concert Parade 2014 on November 16 in Blue Square Samsung Card Hall. It has been about five years since the group held a concert under its name since Epik High′s world tour in 2009. Epik High gathered a total of 12,000 fans for four rounds of the concert starting November 14.
Tablo introduced himself by saying, “I am Tablo, who so many haters could not kill,” bringing out cheers. Mithra greeted, “We welcome you to Epik High’s concert after five years of going through so many twists and turns.”
Epik High heated up the concert by performing he songs from the 8th album, which succeeded in lining up the music charts as well as Fly, One, Love Love Love and more.
Although two of its members, namely DJ Tukutz and Tablo, became fathers, Epik High captured the fans’ hearts with passionate stages filled with hip-hop spirits.
As it was a time to meet Epik High’s Tablo, not ‘Haru’s dad,’ it presented special time for his fans who have been waiting for him. Haru and Kang Hye Jung also watched the concert and cheered for ‘daddy’ Tablo.
Having passionately connected with the fans, Epik High will be expanding its stage to overseas. Starting with the Seoul concert, it will be carrying out an Asia tour as well as a national tour.
Epik High will be launching a concert in Shanghai on November 22 and in Beijing on 23.
In Japan, the concert will be held in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. A total of five concerts will be held in Tokyo Sibuya Womb on November 27, Tokyo Shinjuku Blaze on 28, Nagoya’s Aichi Bottom Line on 29, Oksa’s Shinsaibashi Sunhall on 30 and Osaka’s Bigcat Live House on December 1.
After the Asia tour, Epik High will be holding a national tour in Daegu on December 7, Incheon on December 19, Busan on December 27 to 28, wrapping up the end of this year with the fans.
