Polaris Confirms that LADIES′ CODE Manager Has Been Arrested and is Under Investigation

LADIES′ CODE′s manager, who was driving at the time of the accident, has been arrested and charged.

According to the Suwon District Public Prosecutor′s Office on November 12, LADIES′ CODE′s manager, Park, has been arrested and charged for the death of LADIES′ CODE member and the injury of four people while speeding down a freeway in rainy conditions.

Regarding this, LADIES′ CODE′s agency rep told Newsen, "It′s true that the manager who was driving LADIES′ CODE during the accident has been arrested and charged. Investigations are still going on, and we believe that a custody investigation was decided upon as this case is as important as it is. It′s unfortunate and upsetting."

On September 3 around 1:30 AM KST, the van that the LADIES′ CODE members were riding hit a wall on the Youngdong freeway. EunB and Kwon RiSe unfortunately lose their lives. Lee So Jung received surgery on a facial fracture, while Ashley and Zuny received minor injuries.

The speed limit at the accident scene is set at 100 km, but as it was raining, traffic laws state that the speed must be dropped 20 percent, which would be 80 km. Park was driving at 135.7 km at the time.

On October 20, Seobu Police Department and the National Forensic Service announced that after a detailed analysis of the damaged vehicle, Grand Starex, the vehicle lost a wheel due to the large impact after hitting the freeway barrier in the rain.
