Lovelyz member Seo Ji Soo has been hospitalized.

Wollim Entertainment, Seo Ji Soo’s agency, told Newsen on November 12, “Seo Ji Soo headed to the hospital this morning and was hospitalized after making the decision that it is better to do so,” adding, “We will be following the doctor’s orders once she receives her diagnosis.”

Having gone through difficult times due to the rumors, Seo Ji Soo is currently struggling with mental shock.

On November 12, Woollim Entertainment told Newsen, "Seo Ji Soo′s mental stage of shock is great," and "We′ve come to the conclusion that it′s impossible to carry out normal activities and decided she will not be attending the showcase."

According to the agency rep, Seo Ji Soo is currently suffering mentally to the point that her face has turned pale and hasn′t been able to eat properly. She was also unable to participate during practices due to her weak body.

The agency rep said, “She was in much agony with the public gaze on her," said the affiliate. "She woke up on November 12 with a pale face. It’s been sad watching her.”

Accordingly, Seo Ji Soo will not be attending Lovelyz showcase scheduled for the afternoon of November 12. Due to Seo Ji Soo’s physical condition, the agency decided to postpone her activities after having discussions. The agency shared, "We decided to hold onto her shaking heart and take care of her body first. We decided that postponing activities for the moment is the right thing."

Ahead of Seo Ji Soo′s debut, rumors about the Lovelyz member began to spread rapidly on several online communities. Woollim Entertainment stated through its official Facebook page on November 9 that it will be taking legal action against false rumors about Seo Ji Soo.

Seo Ji Soo, along with agency reps, headed to the Seoul Mapo Police Station to begin investigations regarding the rumors on November 10. The agency also sent additional evidence to the police on November 11. The police will attempt to find the poster and spreader of these rumors using the information revealed online.
