[Video] Lee Seung Gi Shares Warm Memories of Legendary Shin Hae Chul
With the sudden passing of Shin Hae Chul, Lee Seung Gi shared his experience working with the musician himself.
On November 3’s broadcast of MBC’s Documentary – Shin Hae Chul, the Man Who is Called the Devil paid tribute to Shin Hae Chul, highlighting his life in music along with various interviews from his seniors and juniors.
Lee Seung Gi was featured in the documentary, as Shin Hae Chul participated in Lee Seung Gi’s first album A Moth’s Dream in 2004. After N.EX.T disbanded, Shin Hae Chul continued to find new colors in music, while helping his juniors start off in their careers.
“So warmly, so different from what I had thought, he sincerely said to this high schooler who really wanted to do music, ‘You said your name was Seung Gi?’” shared Lee Seung Gi. “He asked me really earnestly about what kind of music I wanted to do. What kind of color I wished would come out. He asked a lot about my opinions on those matters.”
Shin Hae Chul passed away on October 27.
