Super Junior Gathers 110,000 Fans for ‘Super Show 6’ in Tokyo
Super Junior successfully wrapped up ‘Super Show 6’ in Tokyo Dome.
On October 29 and 30, Super Junior launched Super Junior World Tour in Tokyo in Tokyo Dome, gathering over 110,000 fans.
Super Junior launched solo concerts in Tokyo Dome three years in a row since 2012 and sold out all tickets to the two-day concert, proving its popularity and influence in the country.
Super Junior performed a total of 32 songs during the concert, including hits such as Sorry, Sorry, Mamacity, the other album tracks, unit and solo performances and the Japanese version of Mr. Simple and Bonamana as well as Bambina from the 1st full length Japan album.
The members communicated directly with the fans in Japanese and announced the release of Japanese single Mamacita (Ayaya) on December 17 as well as the launch of the FukuokaYafuoku! Dome concert on December 30.
The fans cheered out Super Junior throughout the concert, singing along the songs as they enjoyed the concert and even prepared a special event for Super Junior, during which they held up cards that said ‘SJ No.1’ during the group’s performance of Haru on October 29.
Having successfully completed the Tokyo Dome concert, Super Junior will launch the Super Show 6 in Hong Kong on November 8 in Hong Kong Expo Arena.
