On October 6, in Kanagawa, Japan, Ryu Si Won held a fan event commemorating the release of his eighth studio album Always. Japanese fans were seen waiting for the event since early in the morning, another bit of proof of Ryu Si Won’s popularity.

In the performance for the event, Ryu sang his 12th single Negaiboshi, which was released on September 7, and also his first single from the studio album released on October 5, Donnadokimo.

The day was also Ryu’s 39th birthday, prompting a birthday party to take place at the event. It was Ryu’s first birthday in Japan, and 3000 fans sang a birthday song while a birthday cake with Ryu’s face in icing was brought up on stage.

Ryu Si Won will be holding 16 concerts in eight cities of Japan, starting from November.

On September 16, Ryu will return to Korea to race in the finals for the Super Race, a supportive race to the F1, in Yeongam, to help his pro racing team, the EXR Team106, of which he is director and member, win the race two years in a row.
