2AM’s Lim Seulong, Han Hye Jin, Jin Gu Cast in Movie Together
Lim Seulong, Han Hye Jin and Jin Gu will be coming together for a new movie.
According to Chungeorahm Film on June 13, the three have been cast as the leads for the upcoming movie 26 Years, which will be directed by first-time director, Jo Geun Hyun, who already established himself as a renowned art director.
26 Years tells the story of those involved or related to the events of the May 18, 1980 Gwangju Massacre, which happened during the Gwangju Democratization Movement, and how they seek to punish those responsible, 26 years later.
Jin Gu stars as gang member Kwak Jin Bae, who lost his father in the Gwangju Massacre while Han Hye Jin plays national archer, Shim Mi Jin. Lim Seulong will play Kwon Jung Hyuk, a policeman. This will mark his first movie since Acoustic.
26 Years is based on a hit webtoon of the same name which won critical praise for its tight and emotional storyline.
The movie is planned to premiere later this year.
