With their simple yet endearing facial features, the members of LeeSsag were both found in old history photos printed in textbooks.

On the June 10 broadcast, SBS’ Running Man had a special zombie race, where the first zombie, Gary, had to infect all of the members to win the game.

Later on, Running Man revealed that the staff chose Gary as the zombie because he had existed one hundred years ago, showing an old photo a young man who closely resembled the rapper.

Similarly, Gil had also made news after a fan sent a photo of his doppelganger, also found in an old history textbook.

On May 22, Gil tweeted “Why is it that so many people in historical textbooks look like Gary and Gil? Is it because we were handsome men in history….or because we’re old looking? Either way, I’ll do my best to stay humble.”

In related news, LeeSsang released its new album, Unplugged on May 25 and will be holding its LeeSsang Theater 2 concerts on July 14 and 15 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.
