Former Fin.K.L member Lee Jin will return to the small screen with KBS’s Man of Honor after a two-year absence. She attended the press conference for the upcoming drama alongside the cast on October 5.

Her role recently changed from a cool, confident design manager to deputy section chief of the sales team, and Lee said she will show a more fashionable side to herself in the drama.

“My character begins to develop feelings for her old classmate Young Gwong (Chun Jung Myung). Until now, I usually took on roles of quiet characters, but I′m happy because, this time, I am able to show a more eye-catching side. On the first day of filming, the director said that I had to be pretty and glamorous, so I changed clothes five times. I think I might show a more unconventional style in this drama,” said Lee.

When asked if the other members of Fin.K.L gave her advice, she said, “They sent me encouraging texts. Sung Yu Ri, in particular, who had worked with the director [of Man of Honor] for Hong Gil Dong, gave me a lot of acting and fashion advice.”
Lee and Sung Yu Ri are currently under the same management agency.

Meanwhile, Chun Jung Myung said, “I used to like Fin.K.L a lot and was a big fan of Lee Jin. At the get-together after the first script reading, I was sad because Lee Jin left early. I don′t think she drinks for religious reason. The director is actually a huge fan of Lee Jin too. At the get-together, he kept asking, ‘Where’s Lee Jin?’ People requested her to sing a Fin.K.L’s song.” Lee Jin responded, “I was so embarrassed,” covering her face with hands.

Man of Honor is a drama centered on minor league baseball player Kim Young Gwang (Chun Jung Myung) and optimistic nurse Yoon Jae In (Park Min Young), who are chasing their dreams despite their difficult circumstances. Lee Jang Woo, Choi Myung Gil, Son Chang Min, Lee Mun Sik, and Kim Seong Oh also star in the drama, which premieres on October 12.
