Han Ye Seul Returns to Dramaland After 3 Years with ′Birth of a Beauty′
Han Ye Seul is returning to the small screen after three years.
Han Ye Seul has been confirmed as the female lead for SBS′ Birth of a Beauty, alongside Joo Sang Wook.
Birth of a Beauty is about a woman who is transformed after plastic surgery and diets, and the man, who made her that way. Han Ye Seul will play the lead, Sara, who transforms from a rambunctious ajumma to a picture perfect sexy lady.
After becoming the queen of romantic comedies through Fantasy Couple, Han Ye Seul went on to appear in Tazza, Will It Snow on Christmas, and more. Due to the negative feedback after her disappearing act during the filming of Spy Myung Wol, Han Ye Seul is garnering much buzz with her first project in three years.
Birth of a Beauty will be led by director Lee Chang Min, who directed Giant, Midus, The Bride of the Sun, My Lover Madame Butterfly, and more, and writer Yoon Young Mi of Modern Housewives, Tale of Two Sisters, The Bride of the Sun, One Well-Raised Daughter, and more.
The drama will begin in November after Endless Love ends.
