Having suffered acute pancreatitis, T-ara’s Ji Yeon will be resuming her schedules after taking a break.

Core Contents Media, Ji Yeon’s agency, told Newsen on September 29, “Ji Yeon will be taking a break after receiving hospital treatment. She will be carrying out her schedule as originally planned.”

On September 27, Ji Yeon showed symptoms of acute indigestion and vomiting before going on stage for MBC’s Music Core, and was unable to perform that day. After going through a check up at the hospital, she was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and flu.

After her condition got better, Ji Yeon performed at the 2014 Hallyu Dream Festival (Dream Concert) with the other T-ara members on September 28, singing Sugar Free and Number Nine.

Despite her bad health, Ji Yeon pulled off performances of the two songs, receiving loud cheers from the audience.

Meanwhile, Dream Concert was attended by EXO-K, Kara, SISTAR, 4Minute, VIXX, BTOB, Block B, Ailee, Secret, B.A.P, Crayon Pop, Dal Shabet, ToppDogg, F.CUZ, GOT7, Boys Republic, BESTie, DickPunks, LU:KUS, Halo, Red Velvet and more.
