[Interview] Shin Min Ah Talks Staying Fit, Healthy and Happy

Shin Min Ah confessed that she began monitoring her diet strictly after she entered her 30’s.

In an interview with Newsen on September 26, Shin Min Ah said, “I realize how important it is to take care of your body as I get older. I didn’t care about it much when I was in my 20’s but it’s different now.”

Having debuted in 1998, Shin Min Ah is often named one of the top fashionistas in Korea, with the nickname of ‘goddess,’ but she confessed that she endlessly works hard in order to keep her status.

Shin Min Ah said, “I receive beauty treatments and go on diets too. I get the results based on my hard work. (laughter) I take care of my body strictly and I need to. But it doesn’t bother me as I enjoy it. When I exercise, such as Pilates, I feel more energized.”

Shin Min Ah also said, “I used to do nothing and just rest when I had no schedules but now I move around busily now. I became mentally more healthy as I invested in myself more and led a healthy lifestyle. I naturally became more passionate and I think of healthy things. I also eat healthy food. No matter how happy you are, if your body is not well, it’s no good.”

Meanwhile, My Love, My Bride is about the newly wed life of Young Min (Jo Jeong Seok) and Mi Young (Shin Min Ah), who dated for four years before getting married. It is the remake of My Love, My Bride which starred Park Joong Hoon and late Choi Jin Sil, 24 years ago.

It is set to premiere on October 8.
