Winner’s Debut Album Ranks No. 2 on Oricon’s Weekly Album Chart
Bringing the heat to Japan, Winner took second place on Oricon’s weekly chart with its Japanese debut album.
Winner’s Japanese debut album 2014 S/S Japan Collection released on September 10 sold over 35,079 copies, ranking number two on Oricon’s weekly chart, following the daily chart.
After topping various Korean music charts and winning first place on music programs, Winner has set a high record in Japan as well, continuing its popularity overseas.
On top of gaining success with the Japanese debut album, Winner has successfully launched the first Japan concert tour Winner 1st Japan Tour 2014 on September 11.
Setting ‘city boy’ and ‘stylish’ as the keywords, Winner’s first live tour has been featuring fashion show-like stages with theatre or neon streets concepts harmonizing with Winner’s performances of self composed songs.
Winner will be carrying out the tour in Sapporo on September 23, Fukuoka on 28, Nagoya on 30 and October 1, Osaka on 3 and 4, Tokyo on 10 and 11, presenting a total of 11 concerts in 5 Japanese cities.
