About this, Lee Byung Hun’s agency BH Entertainment released a press release stating, “They purchased plane tickets to Europe to run away after committing the crime and planned out their plot in details to make a threat and extort money, so this is clearly a premeditated crime.”

In a phone conversation with enews on September 4, Big Hit Entertainment, Da Hee’s agency, said, “As her agency, we’re regretful that something like this happened. We will closely watch the investigation.”

Meanwhile, according to the police, Da Hee and her model acquaintance met Lee Byung Hun at a private gathering and later blackmailed him with the video clip that they filmed at the time, demanding that he pay them 5 billion won. Lee Byung Hun reported the case to the police on August 28 and Da Hee and her acquaintance are currently under investigation.
