Girl’s Day’s Hyeri shared her honest thoughts on having gone through the army experience.

On September 1, Hyeri spoke with Newsen about going through CBR (chemical, biological, radiological) training during August 31’s broadcast of MBC’s Real Man, Female Soldiers’ Special.

Hyeri said, “I felt like I was going to die after the CBR training. A part of me regretted not having succeeded in withstanding it until the end, like the other unnies.”

She said, “Although it was a short experience, it made me think of the Korean soldiers as the greatest. I would like to thank all the soldiers who go through the training to become soldiers and protect the country with their strong mentality.”

Hyeri gained a lot of attention and popularity through Real Man, Female Soldiers’ special, even after August 31’s episode aired.

The highlight of the show was Hyeri’s aegyo. After safely finishing the training process, Hyeri caught attention by participating with positive attitude and smiling face throughout, although she had a hard time during CBR training.

During the ending ceremony, Hyeri’s emotions exploded and she began crying. The ‘Terminator’ squad commander ordered her to stop crying and speak clearly but his heart was soon melted by Hyeri’s unexpected aegyo. The commander couldn’t help but to smile broadly in the end.
