Super Junior to Embark on World Tour
K-Pop sure is making waves. Super Junior is expected to tour European regions and the Americas to meet global fans.
While international concerts are becoming the norm, it’s still rare to see a Korean group go outside of Asia.
In November, the group plans to launch its solo concert tour, Super Show4, in Seoul, and will then go all around the world, including Osaka, Beijing, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, and as of yet, undetermined cities in Europe and the Americas.
Last year, the group held its Super Show3 tour, with 20 concerts in 13 cities in Asia, and also participated in the SMTown Live World Tour, with concerts in Los Angeles and Paris.
A rep from SM Entertainment stated on October 5, “As requests for concerts kept pouring in from many countries, we decided to extend the concert to the world tour. We expect global fans who were waiting for Super Junior’s concert to show enthusiastic responses.”
The group’s world tour will be kicking off with a concert in Seoul at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena in November 19 and 20.
Super Junior is currently carrying out promotional activities for its repackage album A-CHA
