SM Explains Incident Between EXO’s Security Guard and Chinese Airport Worker
SM Entertainment spoke out on the recent conflict between EXO’s security guard and an employee of the Chinese airport.
On August 18, a rep from SM Entertainment told Newsen, “The content of the news that has been reported regarding the incident between EXO and Chinese airport is different from the truth.”
The rep explained, “In the process of trying to exit out of the airport in the crowd, there was a conflict between not EXO’s manager, but an employee of the security guard company and an employee of the Chinese airport, but things were resolved without a problem with the airport.”
A Chinese press outlet reported earlier today, “EXO’s security guard and an airport employee had a quarrel, mobilizing police.”
The news claimed, “When EXO’s security guard refused the baggage check, an employee of the Nanjing airport started yelling, which led to an argument and a physical fight. Violence from both sides instantly caused chaos in the airport and it was only settled for the time being when the police arrived.”
