Will ‘Queen In Hyun’s Man’ Have a Sad Ending?

Viewers were left hanging with the preview of tvN′s Queen In Hyun′s Man, which showed Ji Hyun Woo getting hit by an arrow.

In the last scene of the 12th episode, which aired on May 24, Choi Hee Jin (Yoo In Na) delivered some meaningful narration.

“It was a meeting by chance, a strange meeting started by chance in the crack of time. The unavoidable effect of that chance, the end of it, was approaching,” she said, providing an ominous preview that something would happen in her relationship with Kim Boong Do (Ji Hyun Woo).

The preview for the 13th episode which followed her narration showed the king ordering “the treasonous Kim Boong Do to be beheaded,” and a Kim Boong Do getting hit by an arrow despite the fact that he was carrying his talisman.

Netizens who saw the preview started debating on the ending of the drama, saying, ‘I feel a sense of foreboding that Boong Do didn’t avoid the arrow’, ‘He won’t die, will he?’, ‘It’s going to be a happy ending, right?’ and ‘I don’t think he’ll die; he’s the main character.’

The producers of Queen In Hyun’s Man said, “We’ll grab viewer attention with a more interesting and fast-paced story now that we’re nearing the end of the drama. We can’t reveal whether Kim Boong Do will die, but something unexpected will happen in the next few episodes.”

Queen In Hyun’s Man, which has built a strong fanbase for itself with its unique mix of traditional and modern genres, will air its next episode on May 30.
