[Video] Oh Ji Ho is No Holds Barred on ′SNLK 2′
Oh Ji Ho let his handsome actor image go with some shocking comedic acting.
The actor appeared as the first host of tvN′s Saturday Night Live Korea 2 (SNL Korea 2), trying his hand at live comedy skits for the first time in his life.
Oh Ji Ho appeared in six to seven of the skits for the show, performing every form of comedy from slapstick to puns. He especially drew up a more friendly image for himself by letting go of his handsome appearance and never hesitating to do something weird for the show.
He performance in the skit titled ′Midnight Yoga′ was particularly notable, in which he appeared in a blue body suit, not saying a word, but making the audience laugh with his exaggerated acting.
In another skit with actor Lee Han Ui, Oh Ji Ho appeared as the art critic Oh Ji Ma. He brought up points never thought of before regarding famous paintings and interpreted them in an entirely new and erotic way.
TvN′s SNL Korea is the Korean version of America′s Saturday Night Live, which has been enjoying immense popularity for the past 37 years on NBC. The first season, which wrapped up in January, enjoyed success, recording a three percent viewership ratings at its peak.
For the second season, the original cast Lee Han Ui, Kim Won Hae, Jang Young Nam, Kang Yumi, Ahn Young Mi, Ko Kyung Pyo and Kim Seul Ki was joined by a new crew of members that includes Kang Sung Jin, Im Hae Young, Jung Sung Ho, Jung Myung Ock and Kim Min Gyo.
