f(x) Tops YouTube K-Pop Music Video Chart and More with ‘Red Light’
Having returned with the third full length album Red Light, f(x) has been topping various music charts.
The music video for Red Light, released on July 3, has ranked number one on YouTube’s ‘K-Pop Music Video Chart Top 20’ for the week of June 30 through July 6 as well as on Chinese online streaming site iQiyi’s music video weekly chart for the Korean section, proving f(x)’s global popularity.
The title song Red Light has also ranked number one on the daily chart of MelOn, Mnet, Bugs, Genie, Daum Music, Naver Music, Olleh Music and Soribada after it was released on July 7.
Red Light is a song of electro house genre with a twist in rhythm and it sends out a message to think about what is more important in life by giving a ‘red light’ warning.
Meanwhile, f(x) will carry out promotional activities by performing Red Light on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on July 11, MBC’s Music Core on 12 and SBS’s Inkigayo on 13.
