‘MBC Korean Music Wave in Google’ to Air Worldwide on Youtube

Long-awaited by fans, the K-Pop concert held at the Google headquarters is finally happening!

On May 21 (US Pacific Time), nine popular groups from Korea will perform at the Shorline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California for the Google hosted event, MBC Korean Music Wave in Google.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. (PST) and will be broadcasted live through the MBC K-Pop Youtube channel as well as the Youtube Presents Channel, giving K-Pop a chance to be viewed worldwide.

The nine teams include TVXQ,, Girls’ Generation (SNSD), Super Junior, f(x), Wonder Girls, Sistar, Kara, B2ST, and MBLAQ, and the concert will be hosted by SNSD members, Taeyeon and Tiffany.

Since 2011, MBC has organized K-Pop concerts in Thailand, Japan, France, and Australia, and this will be the first time holding a concert at Google headquarters.

MBC has also worked with Google to upload its video contents onto its channel, so that fans all over the world can experience K-Pop in the comfort of their homes.

After the live broadcast of the concert via Youtube, MBC plans on airing the concert through their television channel later on.
