Following a decision by KBS that censored f(x)′s upcoming single Red Light, SM Entertainment stated it will change the lyrics in question and ask for a review.

On July 2, KBS announced that four songs had been censored in its qualification of new releases that applied in the first week of July. f(x)′s Red Light was one of them.

The other three were Elephant Juice′s Addicted to Relationships, SAM′s Tonight and Shin Hae Chul′s Catch Me If U Can.

Red Light was censored as its lyrics mentioned an existing brand.

A rep from SM Entertainment said about the censor, "We will apply for a review after changing the word in question," and added, "This will happen as soon as possible so that the group can appear in the July 4 broadcast of KBS2′s Music Bank."

f(x)′s third studio album Red Light will be released on July 7. The group will start promoting its promotional single beforehand from July 3 with an appearance in Mnet′s M Countdown and subsequent music shows.
