JYJ Park Yoo Chun’s Japanese Fans Donate 2,222 Lunch Boxes for Children in Need
JYJ Park Yoo Chun’s Japanese fans touched the hearts of many with their acts of kindness.
CEO Yang Ho Seung of INGO (International Nongovernmental Organization) World Vision announced on June 30, “Singer and actor Park Yoo Chun’s Japanese fan club members donated 2,222 ‘lunchboxes of love’ in celebration of his birthday.”
Park Yoo Chun’s Japanese fan club ‘6002ism,’ held a birthday party for the star on June 4 and carried out a charity auction event. Upon hearing the news, Park Yoo Chun donated his personal items to be sold in the auction, and the fans gathered over 6,667,420 won in profit.
All proceeds from the auction were donated for the ‘lunchbox of love’ project, which helps out low-income families in Korea.
CEO Yang Ho Seung of World Vision stated, “We’re grateful that, like Park Yoo Chun, who consistently shares through World Vision, his fans are also joining in to share for the good cause. We will organize well so that the fans’ warm hearts can be conveyed to the children through lunchboxes of love, who can barely eat one meal a day once school vacation starts.”
