Winner Shares Info about Debut Album and Future Hopes with VICE
Interviewing with VICE, an international magazine, Winner shared a few details about the current production process for its upcoming debut album.
On June 19, Jakob Dorof of VICE interviewed the Winner members in New York, when they were shooting for their New York Week teasers.
When asked about its debut album, Kang Seung Yoon shared that it’s in the final stages of the production. “You know, just little editing, producing…just like, ‘It could sound even better like this.” We keep getting inspired. So we really want to tweak it to make sure it’s the best that we could put out.”
In the interview, the members talked about songwriting, choreographing, and opening up for 2NE1’s concert tours.
When asked about what kind of group they hope to grow to be in five years, Kang Seung Yoon replied, “In five years, we want to be Winner. And in five years, we want to be a group deserving of the name Winner. Hopefully we’ll be in the middle of our own world tour so that when we come to New York in five years, we’ll be having an interview about that.”
