Infinite Shares on Promoting Alongside Senior Singers g.o.d. and Fly to the Sky
Infinite shared thoughts on promoting its album at the same time as the senior singers, such as g.o.d. and Fly to the Sky.
Infinite attended a photoshoot and an interview with @star1 scheduled to be published on June 20 and revealed that it feels honored to be promoting alongside g.o.d. and Fly to the Sky, who took over the K-pop world in the early 2000’s.
Sung Kyu said, “Fly to the Sky and g.o.d. provided music that gave me great feeling when I was young. I dreamed of becoming a singer as I watched them. When they returned with good music again, the first thought that I had was, ‘Ah, they are still the same. It’s possible for me to do music for a long time, just like them.’ I was really thankful.”
He also said, “It was an honor in itself to compete with them for the first place. I began to want Infinite to become a team that someone can have gratitude and respect for. I will work hard to make that come true.”
Entering their fifth year as a group, the Infinite members also gained many junior singers.
Hoya said, “We made a comeback after a year and there are so many more junior singers now. They all work hard and do well. I hope that we can all be singers that enjoy music, instead of competing against one another.”
The full interview with Infinite will be available in the July issue of @star1.
