Will ‘K-Pop Star’s’ Lee Ha Yi and Lee Seung Hoon Become YG Singers?
Will SBS K-Pop Star’s Lee Ha Yi and Lee Seung Hoon be signing with YG Entertainment?
Lee Ha Yi and Lee Seung Hoon both competed in the final rounds of K-Pop Star after drawing attention with their unique voices and stage manners. Even after they were eliminated, their popularity made it all the more interesting on where they would be going in the future.
It was most probable that the contestants of the show would sign with one of the three agencies YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment or JYP Entertainment, as the show brought in judges Yang Hyun Suk, BoA and Park Jin Young, representatives for the three agencies.
As such, rumors have been spreading that Lee Ha Yi and Lee Seung Hoon have decided to join YG Entertainment.
On the issue, a high-level official of YG Entertainment told enews on May 16, “Nothing has been decided yet. We’re surprised [at the rumors] because K-Pop Star’s winner Park Ji Min hasn’t decided on an agency yet.”
The official added, “We’ll release an official statement soon.”
Viewers of the show are looking forward to what new wave Lee Ha Yi and Lee Seung Hoon will bring to the scene, as there is a great possibility that they will sign with one of the three biggest agencies in K-Pop.
