Lee Seung Chul’s recent comments on Park Jin Young and B2ST’s Lee Gi Kwang are stirring fans and netizens.

Veteran singer and Superstar K judge Lee Seung Chul was the featured guest on the May 15 episode of KBS’ Win Win,

During the episode, the topic of Park Jin Young and his evaluations made on SBS’ K-Pop Star were brought up.

Among Park Jin Young’s criticisms made on K-Pop Star, he had previously famously said to a contestant, “When singing one must emit half air and half sound. I think you lacked air [in your singing].”

Regarding this, Lee Seung Chul made an apparent criticism of Park Jin Young’s words saying, “Hey Jin Young, why’d you say that? Half air, half sound, what is that?”

Lee Seung Chul also went on to address Park Jin Young’s comments on K-Pop Star that one shouldn’t make faces when singing by saying, “That’s like MC Lee Gi Kwang talking about height. It’s self-destruction.”

Netizens were divided on whether Lee Seung Chul’s words were direct criticisms saying, “I think Lee Seung Chul was just joking and not dissing”, “I think he can say these things since he’s close with Park Jin Young” and “Was it really dissing Park Jin Young?”
