‘Not a ballad this time!’ says Kim Bum Soo’s newly released blockbuster movie like video teaser for his upcoming song release on May 17.

On May 15, Kim Bum Soo uploaded a two minute and forty-three second teaser video on his official YouTube channel. As if watching a spy movie, the video showed impressive cinematography making fans curious for what’s to come. This was the work of director Song Wan Young, who also filmed the music videos of Ivy’s Broken Heart, Miss A’s Good-Bye Baby,, Brown Eyed Soul’s I’ll Leave.

Initially gathering attention with the impressive line-up of star in the video, Son Chang Min, Jung Ho Bin, Park Jung Chul, Oh Yoonah, and Ivy, all company affiliates with Kim Bum Soo, heightened the suspense of the video with their brilliant acting.

Also included in the teaser video were the orchestra rearrangements of Kim Bum Soo’s hit songs by producer Don Spike. Kim Bum Soo plans on performing live with these new rearrangements at his concert, offering familiar but brand new sounds.

Representative of Kim Bum Soo’s company, Polaris Entertainment, told enews, “As the captions in the teaser says, Kim Bum Soo’s comeback is not a ballad but a new kind of song that will surprise fans.”

They also added, “A part of Rock Star was revealed at the end of the video, and just like the title, fans can anticipate an exciting, rhythmic song with Kim Bum Soo’s powerful and refreshing vocals.”

The teaser video can be seen on Kim Bum Soo’s official Youtube channel, online music websites, as well as below. Rock Star is scheduled to be completely revealed on May 17.
