‘Sea Fog’ Starring Park Yoo Chun, Kim Yoon Suk and More to Premiere in August
Sea Fog starring Park Yoo Chun and Kim Yoon Suk will be premiering in August.
The movie’s distributing company NEW announced on May 28, “Sea Fog has been pre-sold in Japan, France, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore after it was displayed during the Cannes’ film market.”
Sea Fog gathered attention by presenting its ten minute long promotional video at Cannes market. Two rounds of movie previews held for buyers were completely filled, gathering much spotlight.
An affiliate of Wild Side, a French film distributing company, said, “The video had ten times of a greater impact than the emotions and tension I felt when I read the scenario. Bong Joon Ho, who will be presenting his first film as the producer, is continuing his research into the inner minds of humans,” after watching the promotional video.
An affiliate of Twins, a Japanese film distributing company also stated, “I was excited to watch the video as I had a great anticipation for the project. I can’t wait since it is the first film directed by Shim Sung Bo and starring Park Yoo Chun.”
Meanwhile, Sea Fog is the first film produced by director Bong Joon Ho, who directed Snowpiercer, Memories of Murder, The Host and more.
Sea Fog is about six crewmembers on a ship carrying illegal immigrants, who get involved in uncontrollable twist of events.
