TVXQ Set for Asian Fan Meeting Tour
For Asian fans who are suffering from TVXQ withdrawal, have no fear: the group plans to meet with foreign fans on a continent-wide fan tour.
Beginning in China on October 2, TVXQ will throw ‘fan parties’ in Thailand, Singapore and the rest of Asia, and anticipation is mounting among foreign fans.
The series of fan meetings, TVXQ! Asia Fan Party 2011, will kick off in Beijing at the city’s official gymnasium, and the Chinese media, from newspapers and magazines to broadcast stations, are already competing to cover the event.
The boys have prepared a special program, from performances of their hit songs Rising Sun and Keep Your Head Down to interactive talks, to make the event a memorable night for Chinese fans.
TVXQ has been heating up Japan as well, having sold a record 105, 484 copies of their latest Japanese album Tone and claiming the number one spot on the Oricon Daily Album Chart since its release on September 28. The record continued to hold on to the number one spot on September 29, confirming TVXQ’s status as Asia’s most popular group.
The boys will jump start their album promotions on Fuji TV’s Music Fair on October 1 before making appearances on NHK’s Music Japan and Nippon TV’s Music Lovers on October 2 and Fuji TV’s SMAP x SMAP on October 3.
