SUJU & Henry Win Big at ‘Singapore Entertainment Awards 2014’
Super Junior and its member Henry won a total of five awards at the Singapore Entertainment Awards 2014, proving its popularity overseas.
The Singapore Entertainment Awards 2014 took place on May 17 at Resort World Sentosa Hard Rock Hotel in Singapore and Super Junior won three awards at the event while Henry took two awards home.
Singapore Entertainment Awards 2014 is an annual award ceremony that gives out awards to artists and content that have achieved success in 33 categories in music, movie, television, radio, performance and more.
Super Junior won ‘Most Popular Korean Artist’ award and ‘Most Popular Magazine Cover’ award selected by Singapore’s weekly entertainment magazine U-Weekly. Super Junior-M also won the ′Most Popular Group′ award.
Super Junior-M’s Henry also won two awards, namely the ‘Best New Artist from Asia’ award for his solo album Trap and ‘Most Popular K-Pop MV’ award.
Henry also performed three songs during the ceremony, including his solo album title song Trap, 1-4-3 and Holiday, getting an explosive response from the audience.
After receiving his awards, Henry said, “I’m so happy and thankful for receiving this many awards. I will work harder to become a real man by presenting better music and performance.”
