2PM’s Jun. K topped the Oricon chart with his solo album.

Jun. K’s first Japanese solo album Love & Hate began taking pre-orders on March 6 and ranked number one on Tower Records’ pre-order chart.

After it was released on May 14, the album ranked number one on Oricon’s daily album chart as well as Tower Records’ daily chart.

Jun. K’s Japanese solo mini album contains a total of six tracks, including Love & Hate, No Music No Life, With You, Mr. Doctor, Real Love and the instrumental version of Love & Hate.

The entire album was written and produced by Jun. K, who is also a songwriter for his group, 2PM.

The 2PM member has also gathered attention by collaborating with some of the top artists.

No Music No Life was featured by Japanese R&B artist AI, creating a harmony with Jun. K and Real Love was participated by world renowned pianist Lang Lang.

Jun. K said, “I was very surprised to hear that my solo album ranked number one on the Oricon chart. I would like to thank all those who give me strength by being at my side. I will work harder.”
