Lee Soo Man and SM Entertainment Donate 1 Billion Won to Ferry Victims
To help the victims and families of the Sewol ferry disaster, Lee Soo Man and SM Entertainment donated a total of one billion won.
According to the Korea National Red Cross on April 28, Lee Soo Man and SM Entertainment donated 500 million won each for a total of one billion won, and asked that the money be used to comfort those who are in pain due to the ferry tragedy.
As he made the donation, Lee Soo Man said, “As a parent who has lived to help grow dreams and share hope with celebrities who are like my sons and daughters, my heart ached so much whenever I thought about the victims and their families, who weren’t even able to carry out their dreams due to this tragedy.”
“I will continuously do my best to find ways to support and help the families share the pain.”
The entire one billion won donation made to the Korea National Red Cross will be used for the families of the victims.
Ahead of the donation, SM Entertainment paid its condolences by postponing the album release of EXO, as well as all schedules in Korea.
