What happens when Google meets K-Pop?

On May 21, Google, partnered with MBC, will be hosting a concert at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California, featuring popular K-pop stars, such as Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, Super Junior, Kara, SISTAR, B2ST, MBLAQ, F(X), and Wonder Girls.

Entry is free and tickets for the concert will be available starting on May 12, but for fans who cannot make it to the actual event, they can view the performances through MBC, as well as Google’s YouTube channel, allowing the global audience to enjoy the show.

This will mark the first time a K-Pop concert will be aired, not only in South Korea, but also to the rest of the world. It is also Google’s first time hosting such event.

With the interest of the concert at its peak, a concert affiliate stated, “After this event, we’re hoping to see more demands for K-Pop venues abroad.”
