Leaving behind her former wicked character, Baek Jin Hee will be returning to the small screen as a character with pure and innocent heart.

Having taken the role of ‘Danashri’ in MBC’s Empress Ki, Baek Jin Hee received the spotlight for nicely pulling off the femme fatale role, but she will be making a complete transformation in her new project.

On April 25, MBC’s Triangle released a still cut for Baek Jin Hee, who will be acting as ‘Oh Jin Hee’ in the drama.

Oh Jin Hee is the head of a household who is left to take of her grandmother and younger siblings after the death of her father, who left behind substantial debt.

Despite her harsh reality, Oh Jin Hee is a bright and optimistic woman. Her dream is to become a casino dealer and is the only way she thinks she can be most successful from her hometown.

After finishing Empress Ki, Baek Jin Hee decided to give up her break and act in Triangle.

The actress said, “That’s how much I was attracted to the ‘Oh Jin Hee’ character. My heart kept beating as I tried on the casino dealer uniform.”

She added, “I was touched by her good character to stay positive and brave even with her difficult life, taking responsibility of her family.”

In the drama, she will be loved by both Heo Young Dal (Kim Jae Joong) and Yoon Yang Ha (Im Si Wan), who are biological brothers separated during childhood.

Baek Jin Hee shared, “I was lonely in Empress Ki, as I was consistently begging for love which I never received. But romance will take a big part in this project. The most important task will be to become one with the character to naturally express my feelings.”

Meanwhile, the first episode of Triangle is set to air on May 5.
