Kong Hyo Jin Talks Former Costars So Ji Sub and Cha Seung Won in Interview
Kong Hyo Jin talked about her former drama partners Cha Seung Won and So Ji Sub in an interview.
On April 17, Chinese media outlet, SINA.com, released its interview with Kong Hyo Jin, who starred in MBC’s The Greatest Love and SBS’s Master’s Sun. The actress discussed the actors she has worked with and named the actors she would like to work with in the future.
About Cha Seung Won who acted opposite her in The Greatest Love, Kong Hyo Jin said, “He is a really funny sunbae. Not only does he have more life experiences than me but his acting is very detailed. He really encouraged and supported me when we acted together.”
About So Ji Sub, who acted opposite her in Master’s Sun, the actress said, “When I first met him, I thought he was a really quiet person. But he laughed more often than I expected. He likes to joke a lot when he talks to you.”
When asked if there are any actors she wants to work with in the future, especially as older women-younger men couples have become a trend in K-dramas, she candidly said, “I don’t want to face the jealousy of the actors’ fans.”
Then she added, “I would like to meet Chinese actresses Tang Wei and Maggie Cheung. And I hope there will be an opportunity for me to film a romantic comedy with Stephen Chow.”
Meanwhile, Kong Hyo Jin will be acting as psychiatrist ‘Ji Hae Soo’ in SBS’ upcoming drama It’s Ok, It’s Love.
