Is Lee Hyori leaving a secret life as a student?

It may sound unexpected, but Lee Hyori opened up about filling out‘student’ under occupation on her immigration form when traveling.

Hosting SBS’ You and I,, Lee Hyori shared her immigration stories with guests, Jaurim, on May 6. While it is a required task to fill out their occupation on immigration papers, to fill in ‘singer’ proved to be torturous for the singers, as although they were abroad on vacation, the occupation of singer would imply they were traveling to perform.

Lee Hyori shared, “Whenever I travel abroad, I write ‘student’ on my immigration form, but because there are so many stamps from different countries on my passport, the immigration officer once asked, ‘What student has the money to travel this much?’” To this, Lee Hyori replied, “It’s possible because my father is rich,” causing everyone in the studio to laugh at her clever answer.

Kim Jin Man , Jaurim’s bassist, shared about a time when he was stuck at the immigration office in Guam alone, after traveling there with his members on vacation. He said, “They asked what kind of job I had, so I told them that I was in a band, and that was the problem. I really went there for vacation, but they misunderstood that I had been there for a performance and kept me there for a little while.” MC Jung Jae Hyun also added, “Whenever I go abroad, that kind of problem happens, so I don’t write ‘singer’ on the forms.”

Meanwhile, Jaurim performed Thorn Tree, Departure, and #1 on the program. Aside from Jaurim, Nell and Glen Check also performed.
