‘K-Pop Star’ Winner, Park Ji Min, Promises to be a Singer Whose Voice Doesn’t Crack
Power vocal Park Ji Min revealed her feelings about winning K-Pop Star
On May 2, SBS’ One Night of TV Entertainment unveiled the final stage of SBS’ K-Pop Star, which aired live on April 29.
On this day, Park Ji Min passionately sang out Lim Jung Hee’s Music is My Life and Mercy, and Lee Ha Yi graced the stage with Roberta Flack’s Killing Me Softly With His Song and Adele’s Rolling in the Deep.
Although Park Ji Min’s total score of both songs from the judges was one point lower than Lee Ha Yi’s, the overall count from the viewer votes was higher for Park Ji Min, allowing her to embrace the winner’s victory.
After the live broadcast was finished, Park Ji Min revealed in an interview, “I feel so relieved. It feels so good because it’s like all of my struggles just disappeared into thin air. In the future, I promise to be a touching singer, whose voice doesn’t crack.”
Second place, Lee Ha Yi, said, “I’m glad it’s over. More than anything, I feel like I got rid of the pressure. This is just the beginning, and I will continue to do my best, but I’m glad to have gotten over that biggest hill at the moment.”
