Starship Entertainment currently houses SISTAR, K.Will, and Boyfriend, along with Jungggio and Madclown in its independent label, Starship X. Recently, Starship Entertainment saw success as SISTAR’s Soyou and Junggigo’s track Some became a big hit, along with the expansion into the acting world with Dasom in KBS’ Love Through Song.
Meanwhile, a Starship Entertainment rep told Newsen on March 20, “CEO Kim Shi Dae did try to recruit Yoo Jae Suk.”
“It’s true that he asked Yoo Jae Suk to be a business partner. It happened because we believed that a good synergy effect would happen if we worked with him,” said the rep. “However, none of the details are confirmed so we’re trying to be very careful.”
Yoo Jae Suk is said to be currently debating on staying with his one-man company or sign with an agency.
